JAKARTA - PLN Nusantara Power emphasized that it is ready to strengthen national electricity contribution through its subsidiaries engaged in electricity strategic fields.
President Director of PLN Nusantara Power Ruly Firmansyah revealed that the electricity industry is one of the pillars to encourage the progress of the nation.
"Previously, our subsidiary (PLN Nusantara Power) was established and engaged independently. Through the rebranding of its subsidiaries, the communication line and work system will become uniform so that the level of job quality will be guaranteed," explained Ruly, Friday, June 28.
By optimizing synergies between subsidiaries, Rully emphasized that it can create higher efficiency, strengthen competitiveness, and make a greater contribution to national energy security.
He detailed that PLN Nusantara Power has 4 (four) subsidiaries, namely PLN Nusantara Renewables (PLN NR) which used to be called the Java Bali Investment Generation (PJBI) which is engaged in new and renewable energy, PLN Nusantara Power Construction (PLN NPC) which focuses on Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) or construction at the electricity sector formerly known as Rekadaya Elektria.

"Both PLN NR and PLN NPC have very good track records. PLN NR and partners as owners of the Cirata Floating PLTS project have proven their success. The same is true for PLN NPC with PLN NR who have successfully collaborated with PLN Nusantara Power Group which has completed PLTS IKN 10 MW out of a total of 50 MW," explained Ruly.
From the electricity production sector, PLN Nusantara Power was also assisted by other subsidiaries, namely PLN Nusantara Power Services or formerly known as the Java Bali Services Generation (PJBS) which manages 6,535 MW out of a total of 41 generating units and spread throughout Indonesia. PLN NPS has a vital role in operating and maintaining the PLN Nusantara Power generating unit so that electricity production can run smoothly and the public can consume electricity continuously.
"Not only through quality electricity production, we as the largest generating subholding in Southeast Asia also have a subsidiary engaged in the supply chain for spare parts, materials, and other supporting services for operational sustainability and efficiency in the electricity, power plant and EBT sector, namely PLN Suku Partang (PLN SC)," concluded Rully.
