JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono as well as Acting Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) reviewed the construction of the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) 1 office in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) IKN, Monday, June 24.
Basuki said that currently the overall development progress reached 78.9 percent. The Office of Kemenko 1 can accommodate a total of 1,345 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) consisting of ministers, echelon 1 and 2 ranks as well as ASN and staff.
The plan is that the Office of the Coordinating Ministry 1 will be used as one of the accommodation for the ceremony officers for the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2024, which will be held at IKN.
"The Kemenko 1 office will accommodate the August 17 ceremony officers at IKN," said Basuki in a written statement received by VOI, Tuesday, June 25.
Basuki said that the Kemenko 1 office which will be used as accommodation for ceremony officers is Tower 1 1 1-3 which is targeted to be completed on July 7, 2024.
The Office of Kemenko 1 was built as many as 4 towers, of which each tower consists of 6 floors and 1 semi-basement floor equipped with a panoramic elevator.
To increase the comfort of ceremony officers, Basuki also asked to add a temporary bathroom on each floor. Because, there are only 6 permanent bathrooms on each floor.
"We will prepare 10 portable bathrooms on each floor. Even though we only stay here for one to two days. But, right, people need a shower. The important portable bathroom is clean, the water is coming in, there is no need to use a tank anymore," he said.

Meanwhile, Acting Deputy Chief of OIKN Raja Juli Antoni hopes that in the future the Office of Kemenko 1 can be a comfortable place for ASN to work.
"God willing, this office will be a comfortable and productive ministry office for work," he added.
