Disbursing IDR 19.91 Billion, Waskita Beton Supply Readymix For IKN VVIP Airport Access Road

JAKARTA - PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) supplies readymix for the construction of VVIP Airport access roads in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP).

"We are determined to complete this project on time while still providing the best quality," said WSBP Vice President of Corporate Secretary Fandy Dewanto in his official statement, quoted Wednesday, June 19.

This project will begin to be carried out on March 11, 2024 and is targeted for completion at the end of July. With this target, WSBP believes that the VVIP IKN Airport access road construction project can be completed on time and can be used during the 17 August 2024 ceremony.

For the Nindya-Waskita-Naviri-Panca KSO project, WSBP supplied 10.729 cubic meters of Readymix and obtained a contract value of IDR 19.91 billion.

WSBP provides its best Readymix product produced from the Batching Plant Tempadung to project sites located in North Penajam Paser Regency. By traveling 10 kilometers (km) from the Batching Plant to the project site, WSBP ensures that quality is maintained by sending readymix products using a truck mixer.

Fandy said, WSBP has two batching plants to meet all supply needs of readymix products in the IKN area. In order to maintain the quality and quality of each product supplied, said Fandy, his party has the Batching Plant WSBP Sepaku and the batching Plant WSBP Tempadung, which each has a production capability of more than 1,000 cubic meters per day.

The WSBP Sepaku Batching Plant has a production capacity of 78 cubic meters per hour, which allows WSBP to generate quality Fc 10 to Fc 35, Fs 45 and K100-K350 production volumes of 1,716 cubic meters per day.

"This batching plant provides various important projects in the capital city of the archipelago, including the Presidential Secretariat Building, Supporting Building for the Presidential Palace Area and the National Aquaculture Road Project," he said.

Meanwhile, the Batching Plant WSBP Tempadung has a production capacity of 56 cubic meters per hour and is capable of producing up to 1,232 cubic meters per day. This batching plant supports other important projects, such as the Simpang Tempadung-Jembatan Toll Road Project, Balang Island Section 5A.

"With this project, WSBP is optimistic that it can open up opportunities to get other external contracts in the future, both from the private sector and the government," he added.
