Jokowi Sends 900 Kg Of Sacrificial Cows To IKN, Authority: Strengthen Government And Community Relations

The Capital Archipelago Authority (IKN) has even given a Limousine cow weighing up to 900 kilograms given by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the Darussalam Grand Mosque in Sepaku, North Penajam Paser Regency today.

The Director of Basic Services of the IKN Authority, Suwito, said that his party received the Presidential Community Assistance on Saturday, June 15, which was handed over by representatives from the Presidential Palace to be given to the Darussalam Mosque, Tengin Baru Village.

"The results of the slaughter of sacrificial animals will later be distributed to people in need around Tengin Baru Village, so that the benefits can be felt by many people," said Suwito in a written statement, Monday, June 17.

Suwito said this assistance was a form of support from the Head of State during the Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijri/2024 momentum in the archipelago.

As for this year's Eid celebration, OIKN held prayers and slaughtering sacrificial animals at the Darussalam Grand Mosque, Tengin Baru Village, Sepaku, North Penajam Paser.

According to Suwito, this moment can be used to strengthen relations between the government and the community.

"God willing, in the following years there will be more cows assisted by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the community in the IKN region," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Eid Al-Adha Grand Mosque Committee, Darussalam, Imron hopes that the assistance provided will increase in the future.

"Hopefully, hopefully the assistance provided will increase so that it will enliven the Eid al-Adha commemoration and motivate residents to contribute to the sacrifice," he said.
