Airlangga: Coordinating Ministry For The Economy Moves To IKN When Location Is Ready

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) of the Economy would move to the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago when the condition of the office location was ready. "Yes, according to the readiness of the office on the spot," said Airlangga at the Ainul Hikmah Mosque, West Jakarta, Antara, Monday, June 17. He also ensured that he had prepared personnel from civil servants who would move. Even so, Airlangga was reluctant to mention the number. "We have prepared civil servants who will be transferred," he said. For information, the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy will be one of the ministry's offices prepared at IKN. Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Susiwijono Moegiarso revealed that there are four coordinating ministers (Menko) who will be pioneers in moving to IKN. The four Ministers' move was also accompanied by secretaries from the four coordinating ministries. "The Coordinating Ministry is actually the first agency to move to the IKN of the presidential apparatus and the four Coordinating Ministers," said Susiwijono when met at the office of the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Jakarta, Thursday (30/5). The four Coordinating Ministry in question include the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, as well as the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.
