Eid Al-Adha 1445 Holiday, Pertamina Guarantees Availability Of Fuel And LPG West Java

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Regional secured fuel and LPG supplies ahead of Eid al-Adha 1445 H. This is done to anticipate an increase in community energy needs during the long holiday period of Eid al-Adha.

Pjs. Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Region Muslim Dharmawan said that the supply of fuel and LPG welcomes Eid al-Adha 1445 H in the West Java Regional Region (JBB) which includes Banten, DKI Jakarta and West Java Provinces in general safe conditions.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional West Java also anticipates an increase in fuel and LPG consumption caused by increased community mobility and the need for cooking during the long holiday of Eid al-Adha 1445 H in each Retail Area Sales area by increasing fuel and LPG stocks, including increasing the reliability of facilities and services at distribution agencies such as gas stations and LPG agents/regions.

"To anticipate the increase in fuel consumption during the period before the Eid al-Adha holiday, Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Regional built-up stock at gas stations in each Retail Area Sales area according to the needs and consumption trends in the next few days," said Muslim.

"For example, for biosolars we increase the stock to around 2,000 Kiloliters (KL) per day ahead of Eid al-Adha. Meanwhile, other products are tailored to needs," added Muslim.

Pertamina Patra Niaga has also alerted priority gas stations such as in Rest Areas, ports and other strategic routes to anticipate queues. Pertamina appealed to the public not to panic buying because Pertamina continues to be committed to meeting the energy needs of the community.

For this reason, in addition to ensuring stock at gas stations, Pertamina Patra Niaga West Java Regional also added 3 kg LPG cylinder stock of 1.35 million tubes which were prepared facultatively on Eid al-Adha 1445 H.

"A total of 1.35 million 3 kg LPG cylinders are systematically prepared on Eid al-Adha in the West Java Regional area. With this addition, we hope that the community's needs can be met and feel calm during the holidays and leave with Eid al-Adha in 2024," said Muslim.

Furthermore, Muslims explained that their party also appealed to the public to buy LPG products, especially 3 kg Elpiji products at Pertamina's official LPG distribution or base to ensure the purchase price of 3 kg LPG cylinders in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET) set by the Regional Governments of each region.
