President Director of Garuda Indonesia Irfan Setiaputra said the long Eid holiday period set by Garuda Indonesia Group was 13 to 18 June 2024.
"In this period, Garuda Indonesia Group projects that it will carry at least 335,819. Where Garuda Indonesia projects that it will carry at least 165,195 passengers and Citilink around 170,624 passengers," he said in an official statement, Sunday, June 16.
Irfan also said that during that period the Garuda Indonesia Group operated 2,587 flights, which were optimized by increasing flight capacity through the operation of wide-body fleets.
"As well as the operation of at least 14 additional flights (extra flights), of which 10 flights are operated by Citilink," he explained.
Irfan said the peak of the Eid holiday which fell on Friday, June 14, it was recorded that Garuda Indonesia Group served 73,434 passengers. Consisting of 35,041 passengers served by Garuda Indonesia and 38,393 passengers served with a low cost carrier (LCC) Citilink line.
