Embrace PMI, Hokben Holds Blood Donor At 39 Malls In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Hokben also commemorated World Blood Donor Day which falls on June 14.

This time, HokBen collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) by holding blood donation activities at 39 Malls with HokBen outlets throughout Indonesia.

Along with a series of HokBen's 39th birthday celebrations, this blood donation activity has been going on since April 18, 2024 until it ends on July 31.

This blood donation activity is a program from HokBen's Environmental Social Governance (ESG), as a form of gratitude and commitment to participate in always providing the best for the Indonesian people.

In line with the theme of the commemoration of World Blood Donor this time, namely, 20 Years Of Celebrating Giving : Thank You Blood Donors!, which is an appreciation of the blood donors who have donated blood.

HokBen through this activity hopes to increase public awareness of the importance of blood donation for access to safe and quality blood needs.

"We want to invite the public to participate in becoming heroes of humanity through this blood donation activity. With this blood stock, hopefully it can help Indonesians who need blood transfusions for the sake of their survival," said Irma Wulansari, Marketing Public Relations Manager of HokBen, Friday, June 14, 2024.

As of last Thursday, HokBen had managed to get 684 bags of blood.

Irma added that anyone can participate in this humanitarian activity by visiting 39 mall partners of HokBen who carried out the blood donation action.

Blood Pressure Check

For those who want to donate blood, they will previously be examined as donor participants such as blood pressure, healthy body condition and not sick.

As a form of HokBen's appreciation for blood donors, HokBen gave a special promo on World Blood Donor Day from June 14 to every purchase of the HokBen Fried Chicken 1 ps + Nasi menu to get Free Ice Chocolate, besides that HokBen also provides attractive merchandise such as HokBen x PMI T-shirts, HokBen menu, milk and vitamins.

However, T-shirts are only available to the first 39 donors who have donated their blood.
