Check Tuban Pipe Conditions, Pertamina Patra Niaga Boss: Make Sure Handling Is Complete

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Riva Siahaan directly checked the Tuban BBM Terminal, East Java, after the leak of the Pertamax type fuel pipe (BBM) that occurred inside the Terminal area.

Riva ensures that the handling of the leak is complete and hopes that it doesn't happen again in the future.

"We immediately went down to check the conditions at the Tuban Fuel Terminal and ensure that the handling was completed. We hope that this will not happen again in the future," Riva said in a written statement received by VOI, Tuesday, June 11.

Riva is grateful for the support of all parties including the Tuban Regent and his staff, the Resort Police, BPBD, Jenu Health Center, and the people of Tasikharjo Village.

He asked the Tuban BBM Terminal team to continue to maintain operations and maintain active communication with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) and the surrounding community.

During his visit, Riva also ensured that the health care of the residents of Tasikharjo Village was still being considered even though residents had returned to their respective homes.

"This is a form of our responsibility to the affected communities. We want to ensure that people stay healthy after the incident," said Riva.
