Teten Masduki: Budget Realization Of The Ministry Of Cooperatives And SMEs Reaches IDR 400.3 Billion Until June 7, 2024

JAKARTA - Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop UKM) Teten Masduki said the realization of the 2024 budget as of June 7 reached IDR 400.3 billion or 28.74 percent of the total budget of IDR 1.39 trillion.

"The realization of the budget as of June 7, 2024, based on a payment request letter of Rp. 400.3 billion or reaching 28.74 percent of the realization target (as of June 30, 2024) 35.03 percent," said Teten at a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission VI DPR RI in Jakarta, Monday, June 10.

Teten said, there were several obstacles in the implementation of the first semester of the budget, namely priority activities, especially those with large ceilings such as complete data collection of MSMEs as well as Joint Production Houses and Packaging Houses, which are currently in discussions with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas for implementation through Assistance and Deconcentration Tasks.

He added, to accelerate the absorption of the first semester of the budget, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs will oversee priority programs or activities and especially those that have a fairly large budget allocation.

Re-inventory existing activities to be carried out according to the planned and prepared time. Especially activities affected by changes in ministry policies, have great value and take quite a long time to implement them.

"Conduct periodic monitoring and evaluation to mitigate delays and obstacles in the implementation of programs or activities," he said.

Meanwhile, the realization of the budget of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs for the 2023 budget year was absorbed by Rp1.36 trillion or 97.80 percent of the total budget of Rp1.39 trillion.

The budget is allocated for the implementation of priority and strategic programs of the ministry in each work unit.
