JCI A Week Drops To 1.04 Percent, Ends At 6,897.95

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) for a week fell by 1.04 percent. The JCI this week ended at 6,897.95 compared to the previous week at 6,970.73.

Citing IDX trading data, Jakarta, Saturday, June 8, stock exchange market capitalization for a week also changed, which was 2.85 percent to Rp11,488 trillion from Rp11,825 trillion a week ago.

The average transaction frequency for a week changed by 17.94 percent to 927.000 transactions from 1.13 million transactions a week ago.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction volume over the week changed by 23.82 percent to 15.79 billion shares from 20.73 billion shares a week ago.

The average daily transaction value this week also changed 42.69 percent, to Rp10.39 trillion from Rp18.12 trillion.

Today's movement of foreign investors recorded a net selling value of Rp894.24 billion and throughout 2024 foreign investors recorded a net selling value of Rp8.59 trillion.

In the carbon trade during the May 2024 period, IDX Carbon recorded a carbon trade of 36,363 tons of CO2 equivalent (tCO2e) worth Rp1,462,474,600.00 and 18 transactions. The number of service users has grown to a total of 62 service users.

There are 2 products of Emission Reduction Certificates - Greenhouse Gas (SPE-GHG) registered with IDXCarbon, namely the Lahendong Unit 5 Project & Unit 6 PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk and the Construction of a New Power Plant Fueled by PLTGU Natural Gas Block 3 PJB Muara Karang.
