Prepare 6 Mining Lands For Mass Organizations, Here Are The Location Details

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif revealed that currently the government has prepared 6 lands for the former Coal Mining Concession Work Agreement (PKP2B) to be managed by religious community organizations (ormas) as stated in PP number 25 of 2024.

Arifin said that the land for the former PKP2B was spread across several regions in Indonesia.

"It comes from the mining area that is locked. Mass organizations are given the opportunity," said Arifin to the media at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas Building, Friday, June 7.

Arifin said that the provision of land to mass organizations is an effort by the government to provide opportunities for religious organizations that are indeed non-profit so that they have financial resources that can later be used for religious activities.

"They have a source to be able to support religious activities, religious activities are many such as worship, education, and health problems," continued Arifin.

The area to be given to mass organizations is the former land shrinkage from several large companies in Indonesia. Here's the location:

1. PT Arutmin Indonesia located in Tanah Laut Regency, Tanah Bumbu Regency, and Kotabaru Regency in South Kalimantan

2. PT Kendilo Coal Indonesia, which is located in Paser Regency in East Kalimantan

3. PT Kaltim Prima Coal located in East Kutai Regency in East Kalimantan

4. PT Multi Harapan Utama located in Samarinda Regency and Kutai Kartanegara Regency in East Kalimantan

5. PT Adaro Indonesia, located in Tabalong Regency in Central Kalimantan and Balangan Regency in South Kalimantan

6. PT Kideco Jaya Agung located in Paser Regency in East Kalimantan
