JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has opened its voice regarding the results of the BPK's examination of the supervisory performance of finance companies carried out to revoke business licenses (CIU).
Head of the OJK Department of Literacy, Inclusion and Communications, Aman Santosa, said that the OJK was in the process of improving regulations regarding this matter.
"Regarding the obligation to provide a balance sheet for financing companies carried out by CIU in the form of POJK, as a derivative regulation in accordance with the mandate of the P2SK Law," said Aman Santosa in his official statement, Thursday, June 6.
Aman added that the OJK has made improvements to the SOP regarding the CIU process for this financing company, among others, by requesting the availability of a balance of closure of the financing company.
Meanwhile, Aman conveyed the findings of the BPK with recommendations to harmonize the provisions for supervision of fund collection and distribution at the time of the BPR/BPRRS stated by the Bank in Special Supervision (BDPK) with the LPS regulations.
Aman said that the OJK had issued POJK No.28 of 2023, which Article 21 in POJK referred to as being confirmed regarding the prohibition of collecting funds and distributing funds, is one of the OJK supervisory actions that can be ordered to banks in restructuring.
