Ministry Of Transportation's Budget Realization Reaches IDR 13.7 Trillion Until May 2024

The realization of the Ministry of Transportation's (Kemenhub) budget reached IDR 13.7 trillion until May 2024. The Ministry of Transportation's budget allocation this year is IDR 42.59 trillion.

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said the ministry's current budget consists of an initial ceiling of IDR 38.6 trillion, an additional budget of IDR 3.98 trillion, and has been subject to an automatic adjustment of IDR 1.93 trillion. Thus, the Ministry of Transportation's current effective ceiling is IDR 40.71 trillion.

"We convey the realization of May 31, 2024, as much as 32 percent or Rp. 13.7 trillion. This is 32.23 percent of the plan we are planning," he said in a working meeting with Commission V of the DPR, at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 5.

Budi detailed that the realization consisted of personnel expenditures of Rp2.21 trillion from a ceiling of Rp4.13 trillion. Then, goods expenditures of Rp4.92 trillion from a ceiling of Rp. 18.97 trillion, and capital expenditures of Rp. 6.6 trillion from Rp. 19.5 trillion.

Furthermore, Budi said that the realization in May 2024 was much faster than the target set by his party of IDR 12.03 trillion.

"This (faster) is 2 percent of the plan we planned. For that, I would like to thank you for taking a higher absorption," he said.

Meanwhile, Budi continued, the realization per source of funds was obtained from pure rupiah of Rp. 8.12 trillion from a source of Rp. 23.3 trillion or 35 percent. Then, non-tax state revenue (PNBP) of Rp. 668 billion from a source of Rp. 4.2 trillion.

Furthermore, Budi conveyed that related to PNBP, his party plans to ask for an increase in the utoriality.

"We hope that PNBP will increase but the percentage of PNBP is a very effective source of funds that we can do," he explained.

Budi also conveyed the realization of SBSN funds worth Rp3.18 trillion from Rp11 trillion. Then BLU amounted to Rp479 billion from funds of Rp1.8 trillion. Then, PHLN Rp1.27 trillion from the total Rp2.3 trillion fund.

"Until May, we have achieved one achievement of Rp. 13.7 trillion or positive devision of Rp. 1.7 trillion (from the real target of Rp. 12.03 trillion)," he explained.
