On this occasion, Basuki also reviewed the construction of the IKN Nusantara Toll Road which is the access to the Central Government Core Area (KIPP).
The plan is that the IKN Toll Road will be connected to the Balikpapan-Samarinda (Balsam) toll road, precisely at KM 8-Kariangau. So, later there will be no need to pass the Balsam Toll Road until KM 33. Then, go to Sepaku and enter IKN Nusantara which takes approximately 2 hours.
"This toll road network is expected to be functional before the August 17, 2024 ceremony at IKN Nusantara," he said.
