Presidential Decree Number 78 of 2023 is the legal basis for providing compensation and relocation for people affected by the development of Rempang Eco-City.

"Based on Presidential Decree Number 78 of 2023, there is no compensation for land to affected residents. However, in the Presidential Decree, residents affected will receive compensation and relocation," said Ariastuty as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 25.

Not only living expenses, said Ariastuty, the affected residents were also given a temporary rental fee of IDR 1.2 million per month for each family who was also given for 12 months.
