DENPASAR - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) visited the Bali Governor's Office in Denpasar, today.

AHY came in the context of the declaration of the Four Cities in Bali as a Complete City. The four districts include Jembrana, Gianyar, Tabanan and Bangli. So, now Bali has a total of six complete districts/cities.

"Today, the declaration of four complete districts (Jembrana, Tabanan, Bangli and Gianyar). Following Denpasar as the first complete city in Indonesia and Badung Regency as the first complete district in Indonesia," said AHY at Wisma Sabha Bali Governor's Office, Tuesday, May 21.

"We have the intention to give appreciation because once again Bali is among the front in land and spatial planning matters. This is a very good achievement," he continued.

A district/city is declared complete if spatially all land parcels in the area have been mapped or registered.

Nationally, there are 19 complete regencies/cities throughout Indonesia.

Currently, Bali is the province with the highest number of complete regencies/cities in Indonesia.

"Apresiasi kepada Kantor Wilayah BPN Provinsi Bali, termasuk para kantah tanahan (kantah) di 9 kabupaten/kota se-Bali, karena berkat mereka semua bisa mencapai sebuah pencapaian," katanya.

The Ministry of ATR/BPN itself targets to register 120 million plots of land by 2024 and increase to 126 million registered plots of land by 2025.

As of April 2024, land registration achievements throughout Indonesia have reached 112 million fields.

Meanwhile, specifically in Bali, about 98 percent of the land has been registered with the number of certificates reaching 85 percent.

"There have been 98 percent of the plots of land that have been mapped, chasing up to 100 percent. And those that have been certified are 85 percent, chasing up to 100 percent," he added.
