Hutama Karya Wins New Contract Of IDR 4.05 Trillion In The First Quarter Of 2024

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) achieved a new contract achievement in the first quarter of 2024 which was recorded at IDR 4.05 trillion or 17.05 percent higher than the realization of new contract achievements in the same period in 2023.

Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim explained that the value of the new contract came from various segments of infrastructure work.

"Types of work are dominated by water resources (SDA) projects, roads and bridges, buildings, transportation infrastructure, and others," said Adjib in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Friday, May 17.

The new contract for the SDA project takes the highest portion of the company's total new contract structure, reaching Rp1.98 trillion or 48.91 percent, followed by road and bridge projects of Rp1.24 trillion or 30.58 percent, and building projects contributing Rp410.60 billion or 10.12 percent.

Until April 2024, a number of new projects that have been successfully recorded include the Integrated Shrimp Cultivation Design and Build Work in Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, the Design Build Work of the Orchid Port in Gorontalo.

Then the construction of the Junior Attorney General's Building for Special Crimes in Jakarta, the procurement of construction services for the adjustment of the Aesthetic Building layout in Bali, and the services of the contractor implementing the construction of the BRI Ragunan Park 2 IT Center area in Jakarta.

In more detail, the acquisition of a contract for the work on the BRI Ragunan Package 2 IT Center area has an investment value of IDR 295.5 billion, which is marked by the signing of a Work Order (SPK) by the Executive Vice President (EVP) of the Building Division, Nyoman Endi on April 30, 2024.

The scope of work from this new contract contributor includes building demolition work, TECHNO office building construction, data center Cloud Building construction, GTI Existing Facade (ROBO), and maintenance. Meanwhile, the work implementation period is 20 months or 600 calendar days.

Adjib said, Hutama Karya continues to strengthen the portfolio in the building segment to increase the company's competitiveness. This is evidenced by the acquisition of prestigious awards from the implementation of construction digitization on building projects.

"At the end of last month, we managed to receive the 5D Multi-Project Software Utilization Award which was handed over at the AEC Connect Day 2024 event by Glodon Cubicost Indonesia, in Jakarta," he said.

This achievement is assessed by the acceleration in the implementation of 5D software which is expected to increase productivity, and the quality of the implementation of Project Cost Management, and as a step of digital construction transformation in accordance with the company's strategy.
