JAKARTA - PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) through its subsidiary PT Elnusa Fabricasi Konstruksi (EFK) has entered into an agreement with PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) through the signing of the OCTG tugbing material procurement contract along with other equipment.
Later, more than 35,000 OCTG tubing materials will be supplied by EFK to support the needs of upstream oil and gas related to drilling and production by PHR as one of the largest crude oil producers in Indonesia.
The cooperation contract agreement will take effect until 2025 with the Call of Order mechanism and material delivery in stages within 24 months. The first phase of material delivery is targeted on site in August 2024. The manufacturing process of OCTG tubing material itself is carried out at the EFK Workshop facility located in Batam, Riau Islands.
"Tubing OCTG plays an important role in ensuring safe and efficient extraction of oil and gas. By utilizing quality materials, it is hoped that they will have high strength, resistance to corrosion, and durability, so that hydrocarbons in the Rokan Block can be processed properly," said Pertamina Hulu Rokan Corporate Secretary.
