Entering The Retired Period, Director General Of Oil And Gas ESDM Replaced By Dadan Kusdiana

JAKARTA - Director General of Oil and Gas Tutuka Ariadji is rumored to be changing duties as Professor of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). This is because Tutuka has entered retirement or retirement as of May 1, 2024.

Regarding the replacement for Tutuka, Head of the Bureau of Communication, Public Information Service, and Cooperation (KLIK) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Agus Cahyono Adi said this position would be temporarily occupied by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Dadan Kusdiana.

"Currently, the Secretary General has been appointed as Plt. Meanwhile, until there is a definitive official (Presidential Decree)," Agus said when contacted by VOI, Thursday, May 2.

Just so you know, Tutuka Ariadji is trusted to serve as Director General of Oil and Gas (Dirjen Migas) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) since 2020. Tutuka brings his extensive experience and expertise to lead the Indonesian oil and gas sector in the midst of various challenges and opportunities.

Under Tutuka's leadership, the Directorate General of Oil and Gas has made brilliant achievements in supporting the 3 (three) National Development agenda at the 2020-2024 RPJMN, including optimizing the national oil and gas energy potential through auction offers for oil and gas work areas, ensuring equal and affordable energy access through a program to provide 3 kg LPG on target that continues to be promoted, as well as encouraging an environmentally friendly energy transition through the fuel conversion program to Gas Fuel (BBG) for Target Farmers and Fishermen.

Tutuka Ariadji said, there are several things that have been achieved by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas so far, from upstream, downstream, infrastructure to oil and gas safety are actually facilities, the main goal is the employees at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas.

"We open the opportunity by giving various regulations, for example, we have conveyed an example, namely CCS/CCUS regulations, there are other regulations in oil and gas safety places, there are other regulations in upstream oil and gas places, there are other regulations in downstream oil and gas places, basically all of them are facilities, facilities for us to be as much as possible, as widely as possible to serve the community. So society, including ourselves, is the goal of developing the nation," said Tutuka.
