YOGYAKARTA - The Government Investment Center Public Service Agency (PIP) noted that since 2017 it has disbursed funds of IDR 37.31 trillion for ultra micro business actors.

"Since the establishment of the PIP, since 2017 until today, our total distribution has reached IDR 37.31 trillion," said PIP President Director Ismed Saputra at the Press Tour of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), Wednesday, May 1.

Ismed said that from the total distribution, he had provided loans to 9.95 million micro-enterprises with a reach of 510 districts/cities through the assistance of 89 Non-Bank Financial Institutions (LKBB).

According to Ismed, the distribution is given to micro business actors who do not enter formal financing and distribution is carried out using grouped and individual loan patterns.

Ismed said that since the distribution began, the majority of micro-enterprises who received funding were women at 96 percent and the remaining 4 percent were men.

Meanwhile, in terms of age composition, the productive age group dominates fund loans.

"In 2024, many are under 20 years old, meaning that many young people are our debtors for business," he said.
