Cisarum Bogor Suspension Bridge Completes, Cuts The Travel Time Of Rumpin And Ciseeng Residents

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has completed the construction of the Cisarum Suspension Bridge in Bogor Regency, West Java.

The bridge, which stretches over the Cisadane River, connects Cibeuteung Muara Village, Ciseeng District with Rumpin Village, Rumpin District.

"This bridge has a 120-meter span (m) using a steel frame and the structure uses a cable stayed," said West Java PJN V Satker Implementation & Supervision Assistant Adrianto Putra in a video upload on the official Instagram account @kemenpupr, Monday, April 29.

Adrianto said, there are a number of benefits with the construction of the suspension bridge. First, to facilitate connectivity between the two villages, namely Rumpin Village and Cibeuteung Village. In addition, to open the economy as well. "And coincidentally here there is religious tourism," he said.

One resident named Rudianto said the construction of the Cisarum Suspension Bridge was very good. Because with the bridge, now he only needs about 15 minutes to get home.

"In my opinion, the construction is very good, yes. Because when I go home, I have to go back to Muncung, to Kuta it's closed. Now I'm passing (Cisarum Hanging Bridge) it cut the time of about 15 minutes which came from about 30 minutes," he said.

"The road is also delicious, smooth. Then I just stay straight, I've arrived home now," he added.
