Jasa Marga Claims That The Flow Of Homecoming And Returning To Eid 2024 Is More Smooth, Up 46 Percent

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Subakti Syukur said, the total traffic flow (traffic) during the 2024 Eid homecoming and return period increased by around 46 percent compared to normal conditions.

This fact is obtained from a number of data run by the company and related stakeholders, such as Google which has been integrated with the Jasamarga Integrated Digitalmaps (JID) application.

"This year, the average speed of vehicles on toll roads in the Jakarta area to Central Java (Semarang) has increased at the peak of homecoming and return," Subakti said in her official statement, quoted Thursday, April 25.

Even so, the increase was able to be well guarded.

It was noted that the average speed of vehicles from Cawang to Semarang routes at the peak of the homecoming flow was 68 km/hour, an increase of 11 percent compared to last year.

Meanwhile, the travel time is 6 hours 53 minutes or 15.5 percent faster than last year.

"Meanwhile, the average speed of vehicles from Semarang to Cawang routes at the peak of backflow is 79 km/hour, an increase of 2 percent compared to last year. The travel time is 5 hours 50 minutes or 5 percent faster than last year," he said.

Subakti also claimed that his party had succeeded in overseeing the flow of homecoming and the return of Eid al-Fitr 1445 H, which could not be separated from several aspects that became the attention of the Jasa Marga Alert Task Force Team.

The aspect is to ensure the readiness of operational services, pay attention to security and safety aspects and prepare anticipatory strategies and how to act in emergency situations.

Then, controlling the flow and density in the rest area, limiting construction activities on toll roads during the operational period of Eid services, ensuring the readiness of functional lanes that will be used and optimizing the use of digital technology and data processing of the latest traffic conditions.

Subakti juga secara resmi menutup Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Jasa Marga Siaga Operasional Hari Idulfitri 1445 H yang mengawal pelayanan operasional jalan tol pada periode arus mudik dan balik.
