JAKARTA - One of the subsidiaries of PT PP (Persero) Tbk, namely PT PP Sinergi Banjaratma which is engaged in the Rest Area, was visited by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi and the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy on Saturday, April 13, 2024. This working visit was carried out in order to review the backflow of Eid al-Fitr in 2024 and the readiness of rest areas as the main facilities for travelers to rest.

During a visit to the Rest Area KM 260B, the Minister of Transportation & Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture had a dialogue with travelers and symbolically gave gifts to MSME representatives from art actors and representatives of land transportation employees. Also present on the agenda of a working visit, namely the President Director of PT PP Sinergi Banjaratma Dina Yunanda, Kakorlantas Polri Inspector General Pol. Aan Suhanan, Head of the Brebes Regency Transportation Service Budi Darmawan, Head of the Brebes Regency Resort Police AKBP Guntur M. Tariq, and Military District Command Commander Kab. Brebes Lt. Col. I Infantry Sapto Broto.

Rest area heritage KM 260B Banjaratma is one of the subsidiaries of PTPP with a majority share ownership of 79 percent located on the Pemalang-Pejagan toll road towards Jakarta or located at KM 260B Banjaratma, Brebes Regency, Central Java. This rest area is called heritage because it has a unique building where previously it was a sugar factory building founded in 1908 by HVA, one of the Dutch Plantation Companies centered in Amsterdam, which was revitalized and operated as a rest area in 2019.

During the Eid al-Fitr homecoming period in 2024, the total number of travelers who entered the Rest Area Heritage KM 260B Banjaratma was recorded at 72,277 units, starting from April 5 to April 14, 2024. In this rest area, there are 200 MSME booths consisting of Indonesian culinary, souvenirs, handicrafts, pottery, paintings, batik clothes and several children's rides.

In order to support the government in the success of the Eid al-Fitr 2024 homecoming period, there are several additional facilities optimized by management such as joint standby posts (TNI, Polri, Dishub, Satpol PP, Health Office, IBI, BPBD), bank service homecoming posts, standby pertamina, health, BPJS, automotive and live music events that can be enjoyed for free by travelers.

There are also several activities during Lebaran that sell drinks, medicines and herbal herbs, which are directly from the factory, both in buildings and playgrounds around the As safar Mosque.

Novel Arsyad as the President Director of PTPP said the company through its subsidiary participated in the success of homecoming activities on Eid Al-Fitr in 2024 by optimizing facilities in the KM 260B Banjaratma rest area. Apart from being a facility for travelers to rest, there are also MSMEs where stopping travelers can increase the potential for sales.
