AirAsia Transports 310,000 Passengers During The 2024 Lebrarn Homecoming Period

JAKARTA - Indonesia AirAsia noted that 310.000 passengers had been transported through its airline during the Lebaran homecoming period on April 3 to 18, 2024 with more than 2.000 flights.

President Director of Indonesia AirAsia Veranita Yosephine said in a written statement that the number of passengers had increased by 5 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

"So the passenger transport rate has increased by 5 percent compared to the previous period," he said, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, April 17.

According to him, during the Eid 2024 period, AirAsia strives to provide the best service for safe, comfortable and pleasant flight trips for passengers.

The effort was carried out by instructing all Indonesian AirAsia staff, from counter check-in to ground handling at each airport swiftly serving passengers who want to return to their hometowns wholeheartedly.

Veranita also added that before the homecoming period took place, AirAsia had carried out a ramp check and cleaning of the aircraft thoroughly to ensure all aircraft were in prime condition, fit and ready to fly safely and comfortably (airworthy for flight).

"We also thank all passengers who have chosen Indonesia AirAsia as a means of transportation for homecoming," he said.

Indonesia AirAsia recorded the most visited domestic routes are Denpasar and Lampung. Meanwhile, the international route is held by Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

As for the occupancy rate for all flights during the Eid 2024 period, it reached 85 to 87 percent.

Likewise, the 30kg baggage discount promo is 50 percent for domestic routes and 30 percent for international routes. So passengers do not need to worry about the weight of the goods brought during the Lebaran homecoming

"This is supported by several promos held by Indonesia AirAsia during that period, including the International Routes promo Lowest Fare with a period of flight starting from April 1, 2024 - March 25, 2025," he said.
