Jasa Marga Reminds Maximum Rest Time In Rest Areas Only 30 Minutes

JAKARTA - In the midst of increasing backflow from the Trans Java Toll Road and the Cipularang Toll Road to Jabotabek, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk reminded road users to be able to take advantage of rest times in rest areas wisely.

PT Jasamarga Related Business (JMRB), Jasa Marga's subsidiary in the prospective field, monitors a number of rest areas on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta congested.

"Currently, the rest area that is observed to be dense on backflow is the Rest Area KM 62B of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta because it serves road users from the direction of the Trans Java Toll Road and the Cipularang Toll Road at once. In addition, the KM 97B Rest Area of the Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta is also closely monitored," said PT JMRB President Director Denny Abdurachman in a statement to the media, quoted Monday, April 15.

Denny requested the cooperation of road users not to linger in the rest area and take a maximum of 30 minutes. To be able to optimize the parking capacity and vehicle flow, PT JMRB also mobilizes officers and regulates in and out of rest areas. PT JMRB has also added a number of facilities, including adding up to 599 functional toilet booths in the Jasa Maega Group Rest Area so that it can be used more optimally by the community.

"Jasa Marga also changes the function of men's permanent toilets into women's toilets and male visitors can use functional toilets. This is because women tend to spend longer time in toilets," said Denny.

Denny also reminded again to limit the time of 30 minutes so that it can take turns with other road users. He also appealed to road users to bring supplies or take away food in the rest area.

Jasa Marga ensures the alertness of officers in the field to make various efforts to ensure the comfort of road users during the backflow. Jasa Marga also urges road users from the Bandung direction to be able to optimize the use of Jasa Marga Group rest areas including: 1. Padaleunyi Toll Road: KM 149B and KM 125B2. Cipularang Toll Road Section : KM 97B, KM 88B and KM 72B

Meanwhile, road users on the Jakarta Cikampek Toll Road towards Jakarta can use the KM 62B, KM 42B, KM 19B and KM 6B rest areas. Meanwhile, the KM 52B Rest Area will be subject to a situational closure from April 12 at 15.00 WIB to April 16 at 08.00 WIB.

"Jasa Marga also urges road users to be able to follow directions and officers in the field if they are applied to open and close rest areas. If the Rest Area is closely monitored, then we urge them not to force them to enter and can continue their journey to use the next rest area," concluded Denny.
