D-2 Lebaran, Hutama Karya Records 313,800 Trans Sumatra Toll Road Vehicles

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) reported, as many as 313,800 vehicles that crossed the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) during the period H-4 to D-2 Lebaran 2024 or 6-8 April 2024. This figure experienced an increase of 47 percent of the normal traffic volume (VLL). "This increase reflects the occurrence of high mobility and travel activities during the Lebaran homecoming flow at JTTS," said EVP Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim in a written statement, Monday, April 8. In detail, vehicles crossing the Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung (Pereka) Toll reached 75,349 vehicles or an increase of 88.4 percent of the normal VLL, vehicles crossing the Palembang - Prabumulih Toll (Palindra & Inprabu) were recorded as 58,397 vehicles or an increase of 57 percent of the normal VLL. Then, vehicles crossing the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung (Bengtaba) Toll were 4,667 vehicles or an increase of 4 percent of the normal VLL as well as vehicles crossing the Pekanbaru-Bangkinang (Pekbang) Toll reached 22,500 vehicles or an increase of 28 percent of the normal VLL. Then, vehicles crossing the Pekanbarui (Permai Toll) there were 60,981 vehicles or an increase of 26.48 percent of the normal VLL, vehicles crossing the Indrapura-Kisaran Toll (Inkis) reached 37,584 vehicles or 52.09 percent higher than the normal VLL as well as vehicles crossing the Binjai-Tanjung Pura Toll (Binsa) reaching 42,215 vehicles or an increase of 43 percent of the normal VLL.

"Vehicles crossing the Sigli-Banda Aceh (Seulimeum-Baitusalam) toll road reached 19,101 vehicles, an increase of 24 percent from normal VLL," he said.

Meanwhile, separately for the VLL of additional functional toll roads during the Lebaran homecoming flow, namely the Bangkinang -XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road for the period 5-8 April 2024 totaling 7,090 vehicles and Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road Section Lima Puluh-Kisaran there were 18,554 vehicles passing during the period 4-8 April 2024.

"Hutama Karya will continue to inform the latest developments on a regular basis. We urge toll road users to check the condition of the vehicle before driving, ensure that it is prime and does not drive sleepy, pull over and rest if it is sleepy, ensure that the electronic money card is in good condition and the balance is sufficient before traveling and always agrees that safety is number one," he added.
