Pertamina Ensures Fuel In The South Halmahera Coastal Area Is Enough For Eid

JAKARTA - The supply of fuel oil (BBM) in the coastal area of South Halmahera Regency (Halsel), North Maluku is certain to be sufficient ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah.

This was stated by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua-Maluku while monitoring the area.

"We have prepared additional diesel, pertalite, pertamax and dexlite fuel allocations in the coastal areas of the North Maluku region including Halsel and North Halmahera," said Pertamina Patra Niaga's Executive General Manager for Papua Regional Maluku Sunardi quoting Antara.

According to him, for this subsidized fuel, especially diesel and pertalite, it has been added from March to April from the normal allocation for all gas stations, both regular gas stations, compact gas stations to fishermen.

There is also the addition of 15-20 percent by looking at the conditions three months earlier. In addition, the average of the last 1-2 years and for Eid al-Fitr there has been an increase in fuel demand. Pertamina is also on standby to monitor the stock of Pertamax and Dexlite both at gas stations and Pertashop.

Asked about the price of fuel, continued Sunardi, there has been no information about changes in prices, both pertamax and dexlite.

"Until now it is still the same. But later we will see in April whether there is a change or an increase, a decrease, we don't know yet, but what is certain is that until now there has been no change in price," he said.

Previously, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga through the Tobelo Fuel Oil Terminal (TBBM), guaranteed the availability of energy in the Halmahera area in supporting the needs of residents during Eid al-Fitr.

TBBM Manager Tobelo Evon d stated that Pertamina will provide the best service to the community.

"The fuel stock in Tobelo's Fuel terminal is safe for Hari Raya, Christmas to New Year, the average product stock is up to the next 8 days, plus there will be a supply of tankers until the end of the month," he said.

He explained, for the North Halmahera area and its surroundings, it is projected that there will be an increase in consumption in pertalite, pertamax, and pertamax turbo products due to increased use.
