JAKARTA Entering the Indonesian automotive market is not an easy thing for new brands, especially to build consumer trust and loyalty. This challenge is being faced by Jetour, one of the new players from China, with an ambitious long-term expansion strategy.

Jetour, which has just launched the prices of its two newest SUV models, has big plans: building 100 dealers in the country within the next five years.

"In the long term, in the next 5 years we are targeting to open 100 dealers," said Marketing Director of PT Jetour Motor Indonesia, Ranggy Radisyah, while talking in Jakarta recently.

Ranggy added that by the end of this year, Jetour is targeting to open five additional dealers in big cities. "Until December, we plan to open five more dealers. Our main focus now is Jakarta, with dealers in Pluit and Kelapa Gading that are already operating. We will also explore outside Jakarta, such as Surabaya and other cities," he explained.

Jetour's first dealer at Pluit comes with a 4S concept that prioritizes complete service for customers. "This 4S concept includes Sales, Services, Spareparts, and Surveys. Our focus is on ensuring customer satisfaction through comprehensive services," said Ranggy.

This aggressive strategy is expected to help Jetour strengthen its position in Indonesia's increasingly competitive automotive market.
