Refund Tickets For Fast Trains Can Be Via Applications, No Need To Go To Stations

JAKARTA - The public now does not need to come directly to the station to claim refund or refund for the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB)

Now, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) has imposed a ticket refund online.

General Manager of KCIC Corporate Secretary, Eva Chairunisa, said that ticket refunds can be done online through the Rights application.

"Currently we already have an application that passengers can use to refund," Eva said in Jakarta, quoted Thursday, April 4.

With the online system, passengers no longer need to go to the counters at theASH stations to refund.

However, with a note, the refund can only be done by passengers who also buyASH tickets through the application.

"So you don't have to come to the counter. But indeed the refund process through this application, they also have to buy it through the application," he said.

Furthermore, Eva said, ticket refunds can only be done a maximum of two hours before the train departure. If you pass that, the refund cannot be done.

"If they are late, they will definitely be scorched," he explained.

Previously, it was reported that the Fast Train would face the moment of its inaugural Eid holiday in 2024. At this Lebaran holiday, tickets are priced from IDR 250,000 to IDR 300,000 for one trip.

Eva said the ticket price for the luxury train during the Eid al-Fitr 2024 holiday period moved up following high demand.

Furthermore, Eva said, during the Eid al-Fitr 2024 homecoming period, the ticket price for thelush high-speed train will range from IDR 250,000 to IDR 300,000.

"For this Eid holiday moment, because the demand is also quite high, the price ranges from around Rp. 250,000 to Rp. 300,000," Eva said in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 3.

Based on observations through the ticket.kcic.co.id website, the ticket price for thelush high-speed train at D-5 Lebaran for the premium banderol economy class is IDR 250,000. Meanwhile, the business class is IDR 450,000 and the First Class ticket is sold for IDR 600,000.

Ticket prices were observed to move up on April 10, 2024 or the 2024 Eid al-Fitr day. Where premium economic classes are sold for IDR 300,000. Meanwhile, business classes and First Class did not experience an increase.
