JAKARTA - Chairman of the Minerba Standing Commission Kadin Arya Rizqi Darsono proposed the government, in this case the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), to form a Directorate General of Law Enforcement (Gakum) in order to overcome the chaotic chaotic tin governance.

According to him, the supervision currently being carried out by the government is still not enough and is considered ineffective enough.

"We propose that the formation of the Directorate General of Law and Human Rights at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources can help in this supervision," he said in the Mining Zone quoted on Tuesday, April 2.

Arya added, in addition to forming the Directorate General of Law and Human Rights, the issuance of People's Mining Permits (IPR) is also considered to be able to overcome mining without a permit (Peti) which often causes losses to the state.

With the IPR, illegal mining outside the Mining Business Permit (IUP) area can then be designated as a People's Mining Area (WPR) so that it can contribute income to the state.

"If there is a coffin within the IUP area, in my opinion there can be guidance. For example, this SOE has a coffin, it is done fostering, for example, the bumdes to carry out mining. IUP made so that there is a symbiotic mutualism so that there is no coffin. That's the way," said Arya.

Arya also emphasized the need for additional supervision to be carried out by forming the Directorate General of Law and Human Rights because the Mining Inspector is considered to have many duties and responsibilities to be charged.

"If they expect the Mining Inspector, they have a lot of tasks because it is not only an element of engineering because the environment is also, not to mention safety. We see the need for a Director General of Law and Human Rights," he concluded.
