Taspen Pays THR Worth IDR 82 Billion For 28,836 Retired In Papua

JAKARTA - PT Taspen (Persero) Jayapura Branch paid THR (Hari Raya Allowance) of IDR 82,806,915,600 or IDR 82 billion for 28,836 retirees spread across four provinces in Papua.

Head of the Jayapura Branch of PT Taspen (Persero) Theofilus Amfotis, in Jayapura, Monday, April 1, said that the THR had been disbursed on Friday, March 22, based on Government Regulation (PP) Number 14 of 2024.

"So we have handed over the THR to 28,836 retirees spread across four provinces, namely Papua, Central Papua, Papua Mountains, and South Papua," he said, quoted from Antara.

According to Theofilus, the amount of THR funds for retirees is based on the salary of March 2024, while the 13 salary will be disbursed in June.

"There is an increase in salary in accordance with PP No. 8 of 2024 concerning the Determination of Retired Principles for Civil Servants and Widows or Widows," he said again.

He explained that for the salary of retired State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as well as widows and widowers, there was an increase in March 2024, the new salary increased by 12 percent in accordance with presidential regulations," he said again.

He added that the THR payment was made simultaneously and could be taken to every partner from PT Taspen Jayapura.

"By distributing the THR on time, it is hoped that it can provide benefits for retirees in the month of Ramadan 2024," he said again.
