PO Bus This Agrees With The Prohibition Of Teloklet Klakson: We Prioritize Disturbed Elderly Passengers

JAKARTA - The ban on the use of tellolet horns on the AKAP bus fleet has begun to be highlighted by a number of Otobus (PO) companies. One of the bus POs, PO Sembodo, supports this government regulation.

Olive further said, since the beginning of the telolet horn trend in a number of vehicles, his party has also appealed to the crew and bus drivers not to install it.

Because since knowing the function or use of the telolet, he assesses that it can also disturb the comfort of the passengers.

"Because we prioritize the comfort of passenger sembodo buses, which is almost 65 percent of the elderly (elderly) will be disrupted if they use telolet horns," he said.

Even Olive admitted that he had told the bus crew and drivers not to personally buy the telolet horn. Olive asked his employees to shift it to necessities - the main life.

"Even if many bus crew permits want to buy their own, the management prohibits and better funds for telolets or accessories are used to buy family or wife's cooking needs to make them more useful," he said.

Inter-City Inter-Provincial (AKAP) bus service managers supervise their vehicles related to ramp check graduation requirements.

If the bus is found to still use a telolet horn, then the East Jakarta Motor Vehicle Testing Service Unit (UP PKB) officers will not pass the bus when the ramp check is carried out.

UP PKB has started conducting pre-ramp checks on Eid transport buses at the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal. This pre-ramp check activity has been carried out from March 12, 2024 to Sunday, March 31.

The Director General of Land Transportation has issued a circular regarding this matter to all levels of the Transportation Service in Indonesia.

Including in DKI Jakarta to pay more attention to and check the use of telolet horns on every public transportation.

In addition, the police will take action against bus operators who violate these provisions, it is hoped that there will be no recurring incidents.

This refers to Law No. 22/2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation Article 58 that every driver is prohibited from installing equipment that interferes with traffic safety and security.
