Pertamina Ensures That During Eid Holidays, Fuel Supply In West Sumatra Is Sufficient

Pertamina Patra Niaga Region of North Sumatra (Sumbagut) ensures that the supply of fuel oil (BBM) in West Sumatra Province is sufficient during the Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri holiday.

"We ensure that the stock in West Sumatra is safe, be it pertalite, bio solar, LPG and avtur," said Sales Area Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga, West Sumatra Region, Naratama Aulia Fazri in Padang, Friday.

Naratama detailed that the Pertamima pertalite supply optimizes the availability (of) 22,514 kilo liters or about eight days, 32,240 kilo liters of bio solar or 17 days. Then Avtur 3,658 (60 days), LPG more than four days, first hand 5,841 kilo liters or about nine days and Pertamax turbo as much as 1,062 (more than 100 days).

"Pertamina also ensures that each product will be refilled before entering a critical period or running out," said Naratama.

In Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri Pertamina projected an increase in the number of public consumption compared to the usual day. First, for LPG, it is estimated that it will increase by three percent.

Next, the gasoline needs consisting of Pertamax and Pertamax turbo are 17 percent and avtur 18 percent. Meanwhile, gasoil which includes solar pertamina dex and dexlite consumption is estimated to fall to minus 14 percent.

In addition, Pertamina estimates that the initial homecoming flow will occur on April 5, 2024 and is projected to increase fuel consumption by around 28 percent, and peak on April 7 where gasoline rose to 52 percent.

Meanwhile, the return flow, which is estimated to be on April 14, Pertamina, estimates that the increase in fuel consumption will reach 53 percent. Then for the consumption LPG, it is estimated that it will increase to 43 percent from daily normal distribution.

To ensure services to the community during homecoming and backflow, Pertamina has prepared several special services, namely 128 Alert gas stations, three health posts, five motorbikes that are ready to serve fuel sales and 16 gas stations spread over a number of points.
