Provide 480 Free Lebaran Homecoming Quota, KAI: Expired In Two Days

JAKARTA - The free homecoming program organized by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI is busy with enthusiasts. In fact, the quota for homecoming provided is 480, sold out in just two days.

The Progrma applies to departures on April 2, 2024. Registration itself is open from March 25 to 26, 2024 at Pasarsenen Station from 09.00 to 16.00 WIB.

KAI Commercial Director Hadith Surya Palapa said the free homecoming quota provided by KAI was full or exhausted.

"Laris, immediately sold out (over)," he said in a press conference, at the BUMN Ministry office, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 27.

Separately, KAI VP Public Relations Joni Martinus said the free homecoming provided by KAI was opened in two stages. First, immediately register at Senen Station. Second, online.

"So on March 25th, we will limit it at Pasar Senen, on March 26 via online. Tickets have run out on March 26," he said.

Previously, Joni said the free homecoming quota was opened to the Tawangjaya Premium train for the economic class of the Pasarsenen-Semarang Tawang Bank, Central Java.

"This free homecoming KAI is carried out in order to support the 2024 SOE Fun Homecoming program, which is a routine SOE agenda, as a form of SOE's commitment to continue to provide benefits to the people of Indonesia," he said in an official statement, written Tuesday, March 26.

Joni said the free homecoming program is open to all Indonesian people. However, there are several conditions that need to be met if you want to join this program.

"The condition is that you must have an ID card or it is recorded in the valid Family Card (KK)," he explained.

Furthermore, Joni said that this ticket booking can be done directly at Pasar Senen Station and can also be done online without having to register first through the Access by KAI application starting March 26, 2024 at 14.00 WIB.

"The order at Access by KAI is carried out by choosing the Pasarsenen-Semarang relationship Tawang Bank Jateng or partial relations between the two stations," he said.

Furthermore, Joni said, KAI provides provisions for this free homecoming, namely that one customer is limited to only allowed to order a maximum of 4 tickets.

One homecoming participant can bring one IV (the baby under 3 years old) without reducing the participant quota but not getting the seating number. While the check-in and boarding process is still in accordance with applicable regulations.

"It is hoped that the public can take advantage of this free homecoming so that it can provide more convenience and comfort for Eid homecoming by train. So that trains remain the main choice for community homecoming trips with cheerful and meaningful meaning," concluded Joni.
