The provisions related to the IPR also refer to Law Number 3 concerning Amendments to Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Minerba Mining Article 22 where the area within the WP that can be determined as a WPR must meet a number of criteria and Article 22A in which the central government and local governments guarantee no change in the use of spatial and regional planning in the established WPR.
