BPJT Says 1.8 Million Vehicles Will Leave Jabodetabek During Lebaran 2024 Homecoming

JAKARTA - Total four-wheeled private vehicles or cars that will leave Jobodetabek at Eid or Eid Al-Fitr 2024 momentum reach 1.8 million units.

The vehicle will leave Jabodetabek via toll roads.

This was conveyed by a member of the Pangelola Board for Toll Roads (BPJT) Community Elements of the Ministry of PUPR Tulus Abadi in the agenda of the Merdeka Barat 9 Forum, at Kominfo, Jakarta, Monday, March 25.

"If we sound the flow of homecoming on the toll road from Jakarta, Jabodetabek is 1.8 million or so. Later there will be more. I don't know, maybe there are newcomers," said Tulus.

Furthermore, Tulus said the government had prepared anticipation of toll road traffic engineering for the homecoming flow and back to Lebaran 2024.

"The point is, with the current situation, toll roads are ready to be passed for homecoming and backflow," he explained.

Tulus also said that the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) or toll road operators had made preparations by providing a rest area or rest area. He also requested that the portable toilet be added.

To anticipate overcrowding at gas stations, Tulus also appealed to travelers to fill full fuel oil (BBM) before traveling.

That way there will be no accumulation of vehicles.
