Arifin Tasrif: 90.3 Percent Budget Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources In 2023 Allocated For Community Infrastructure

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif revealed that 90.06 percent of the budget realization of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2023 is allocated for infrastructure activities for the community, one of which is the construction of the Cirebon-Semarang (CISEM) gas pipeline.

"The realization of the budget is Rp6.18 trillion or 90.06 percent of the Rp6.8 trillion ceiling. Part of the budget is allocated for infrastructure activities for the community," said Arifin in his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, March 20.

The budget is allocated for the construction of CISEM Gas Pipelines, fishermen's Conkit, farmers' Konkit, street lighting for solar power (PJU-TS), solar power plants (PLTS), electricity cooking utensils, electric power distribution equipment, and conversion of electric motors.

The construction of the CISEM phase I pipeline, continued Arifin, has been built along 60,509 meters with an investment value of IDR 1.04 trillion.

The construction will continue with the Cisem Phase II pipeline which will invest around Rp3.34 trillion from the state budget allocation (APBN) with a multi-year contract scheme.

Furthermore, Arifin explained that the 2023 budget of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources was also allocated to build a gas network of 950.71 thousand house connections, with the realization in 2023 of 60.33 thousand house connections.

Regarding the One Price Fuel program, Arifin said that in 2023 the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources managed to add 89 locations, so that so far there are 512 locations for One Price Fuel.

"The distribution of Fishermen's Conkit is 14,160 packages in 50 regencies/cities. Meanwhile, the Farmer's Conkit is 39,465 packages in 69 regencies/cities," Arifin added.
