RI Has 15 Projects That Will Be Onstream In 2024, Add Oil Production To 41,922 BOPD

JAKARTA - Head of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) Dwi Soetjipto revealed that Indonesia has 15 natural oil and gas projects targeted to be onstream by 2024.

Dwi said that with the operation of these 15 projects, he hopes that he can provide additional oil production capacity of 41,922 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and gas outlets of 207 million cubic feet of gas (MMSCFD) per day.

"This project has a capex of around 560.1 million US dollars," said Dwi in a Hearing Meeting with Commission VII DPR RI, Wednesday, March 13.

Dwi said the first project belonged to Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM), including Peciko 8B with a production capacity of 16 MMSCFD with an investment cost of 29.4 million US dollars, then Bekapai Artificial Lift with a reduction capacity of 12 MMSCFD with an investment of 17.5 million US dollars and SWPG Debottlenecking with a capacity of 8 MMSCFD with an investment of 4.5 million US dollars. The three projects are expected to be onboard in March 2024.

Second, the South Sembakung Compressor Facility project by JOB PMEP Simenggaris with a capacity of 22.5 MMSCFD which has a total investment of 12.7 million US dollars. This project will be online in March 2024.

Furthermore, the AFCP project by Premier Oil, which has a capacity of 117 MMSCFD, is targeted onstream in June 2024 with a total investment of 10.9 million US dollars.

Fourth, oil and gas propies by Medco Natuna, namely Forel Baronang with an oil production capacity of 10,000 BOPD and gas of 43 MMSCFD targeted onstream in October 2024 and West Belut with a gas production capacity of 50 MMSFCD which will be on stream in August 2024.

The Akatara Gas Plant project with a capacity of 25 MMSCFD and oil is 1100 BOPD mlik Jadestone Energy which will be onstream in April 2024 with a total investment of 86.3 million US dollars.

The SP Puspa Asri project by Pertamina EP with a capacity of 600 BOPD which will be onstream in October 2024 has an investment value of 6.3 million US dollars.

Then PHE Ogan Komering's ASDJ-116X Flowline project with a capacity of 94 BOPDs is targeted on stream in April 2024 and has an investment value of 65,279 US dollars.

Pertamina EP's Compresor Project has a capacity of 8 MMSCFD with an onstream target of November 2024 and has an investment value of 10.5 million US dollars.

The Duyung Facility Optimization project, which is operated by Medco Grissik with a capacity of 40 MMSCFD, is targeted to be on-stream in July 2024 with an investment value of 12.7 million US dollars.

The OPL E-Main project is operated by PHE ONWJ with a capacity of 128 BOPD operating in June 2024

Then the construction of CO2 and DHU Karang Baru Field with a capacity of 5 MMSCFD by Pertamina EP which will be onstream in April 2024.

Finally, the Banyu Urip Infill Classic project by ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd with a production capacity of 30 thousand bpd with an onstream target of July 2024.
