President Director of Perum Bulog Bayu Krisnamurthi said the 300,000 tons of rice that had been contracted were part of the rice import quota this year.

Bayu said Bulog had managed to contract 500,000 tons of rice. In total, Bulog has now managed to secure 800,000 tons of imported rice.
