Nyepi Holiday After, 143,000 Vehicles Return To Jabotabek

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk recorded as many as 143,701 vehicles returning to the Jabotabek area after the long holiday at the same time as Nyepi Day March 11, 2024.

"This figure is the cumulative number of traffic flows (traffic) from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Cikupa (from the direction of Merak), GT Ciawi (from the direction of Puncak), and GT Cikampek Utama (from the direction of Trans Java) and GT Kalihurip Utama (from the direction of Bandung)," said Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, March 12.

The total volume of traffic returning to the Jabotabek area increased by 10.38 percent compared to normal traffic.

For traffic distribution back to Jabotabek from the three directions, the majority were 69,554 vehicles (48.40 percent) from the east (Trans Java and Bandung), 38,454 vehicles (26.76 percent) from the west (Merak), and 35,693 vehicles (24.84 percent) from the south (Puncak).

Traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 32,493 vehicles, an increase of 30.27 percent from normal traffic.

Traffic returning to Jabotabek from Bandung via GT Kalihurip Utama Cipularang Toll Road, with a total of 37,061 vehicles, an increase of 25.85 percent from normal traffic.

The total traffic returning to Jabotabek from the direction of Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs was 69,554 vehicles, an increase of 27.88 percent from normal traffic.

Meanwhile, traffic returning to Jabotabek from Merak via the Cikupa GT Tangerang-Merak Toll Road was 38,454 vehicles, 14.54 percent lower than normal traffic.

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles returning to Jabotabek from Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 35,693 vehicles, an increase of 15.89 percent from normal traffic.
