JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) through its subsidiary Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division (JNT) predicts a surge in vehicles ahead of the long Nyepi Day holiday in Saka 1946.

JNT predicts that a number of toll roads will experience a surge in volume on holidays starting today, Saturday, March 9 to Tuesday, March 12.

Jasa Marga Senior General Manager of Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division Truly Nawangsasi said, as the operational coordinator of the Nusantara region, JNT will coordinate with Toll Road Subsidiaries (APJT) managing the Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road in North Sumatra, the Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road in East Kalimantan, the Manado-Bitung Toll Road in North Sulawesi and the Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai-Benoa Toll Road in Bali.

The following is the prediction of increasing the volume of vehicles on a number of toll roads on March 11, 2024:

1. The Belawan-Medan-Tanjung Morawa Toll Road, which is predicted to peak in traffic volume, will occur on March 8, 2024, amounting to 92,067, an increase or 9.83 percent compared to normal daily traffic in 2024 (83,827 vehicles).

2. The Medan-Kualanamu-Tebing Tinggi Toll Road, which is predicted to peak in traffic volume, will occur on March 9, 2024, amounting to 31,483 or an increase of 28.66 percent compared to normal daily traffic in 2024 (24,471 vehicles).

3. The Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road, which is predicted to peak in traffic volume, will occur on March 10, 2024, amounting to 13,521 or an increase of 22 percent compared to normal daily traffic in 2024 (11,083 vehicles).

4. The Manado-Bitung Toll Road, which is predicted to peak in traffic volume, will occur on March 8, 2024, amounting to 6,181, an increase of 7 percent compared to normal daily traffic in 2024 (5,777 vehicles).
