Airlangga Ensures BLT Mitigation Of Food Risk Rp600,000 Liquid Before Eid

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartanto ensured that the 2024 food mitigation direct cash assistance (BLT) of IDR 600,000 would be disbursed before Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Fitr.

Initially, the BLT mitigated the risk of food was planned to be disbursed in February or ahead of the 2024 General Election. However, coordination has not been completed between the relevant ministries.

Airlangga said that currently his party is finalizing the data on the recipients of the food mitigation BLT. He targets it to be completed in the near future.

"BLT mitigating food risk will be carried out this semester. Maybe before Lebaran, wait for the isbat session," he said at a press conference at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy Office, Jakarta, Friday, March 8.

For your information, the amount of this BLT is IDR 200,000 per month from January to March. However, this assistance will be distributed at the same time to IDR 600,000 for 18 million beneficiary families (KPM).

Previously, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the food risk mitigation direct cash assistance (BLT) program of IDR 600,000 for the period January to March would be given at once next month.

"It will take effect for three months, so it will be postponed to March," Airlangga told reporters at his office, Friday, February 23.
