JAKARTA - SOE Minister Erick Thohir said that the work on the Padang-Sicincin (Pacin) toll road project was in accordance with the good quality. Currently, the progress of the project's physical construction has reached 55.43 percent.

Furthermore, Budi Harto explained, this toll road will be equipped with a number of facilities including 3 toll gates, 1 pair of Type A Rest and Service Places (TIP) at STA 22 + 000, and a number of crossing buildings such as 8 river bridges, 2 irrigation bridges, and 14 underbridge bridges.

This toll road will also be equipped with a number of 2x2 lanes, with a plan speed of 80 km per hour. This will shorten the travel time from Padang to Bukittinggi to just one hour, so that it can increase regional tourism and develop surrounding areas.
