PLN Connects Electricity To 230 Customers In Jakarta

PT PLN (Persero) conducts simultaneous electrical connection to 230 customers in the Jakarta area with a total connected power of up to 36 million Volt Ampere (VA).

PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo said that this step further strengthens the role of PLN which is not only an energy supplier, but also as an economic driving force in Jakarta.

"Electricity is an important component in running a business, Indonesia's ease of doing business is ranked 6th best in Southeast Asia and ranked 73rd on a global scale. Lasiran added that during February 2024, his party had connected 21,100 customers in Jakarta with a total power of 93 million VA. PLN also continues to increase service time, where previously the standard for connecting middle-voltage customers was 100 days, to 20 days.
