Operate 308 Trips, Jabodebek LRT Waiting Time So Only 6 Minutes

JAKARTA - Director of Traffic and Railway Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Arif Anwar said the Jabodebek LRT service operates with 308 trips per day starting March 1, 2024.

Furthermore, Arif said that with the operation of 308 trips, the headway or waiting time for the train will decrease.

"Headway is 6 minutes for the Dukuh Atas-Cawang segment and 12.5 minutes for the Cawang-Harjamukti or Jatimulya segment," he said in an official statement, Friday, March 1.

Arif also said that the operational time of the Jabodebek LRT during weekdays or peak hours from Monday to Friday will follow applicable regulations. First, the earliest departure from Jatimulya Station to Dukuh Atas Station is 05:22 WIB.

Second, continued Arif, the earliest departure from Harjamukti Station to Dukuh Atas Station was at 05:30 WIB. Then, the last departure from Dukuh Atas Station to Jatimulya Station was at 22:08 WIB.

"The last departure from Dukuh Atas Station to Harjamukti Station is at 22:13 WIB," he said.

That way, Arif said that the public is expected to be able to monitor further schedules and information related to the Jabodebek LRT operations through the official DJKA channel and the Jabodebek LRT Division.

"If there are unpleasant things on the trip with the Jabodebek LRT, the public can also directly submit their complaints through our official information channels," concluded Arif.

Previously, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI would add 44 Jabodebek LRT trips on weekdays or weekdays. The addition of this trip will be effective starting tomorrow or March 1, 2024.

The Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT, Mahendro Trang Bawono, said that with this addition, the number of Jabodebek LRT trips every day (on Sunday) will increase.

"So the total is 308 trips, or an increase of 16 percent compared to the previous period," said Mahendro in an official statement, Thursday, February 29.

Mahendro said the addition of this trip was intended to improve services for Jabodebek LRT users. He said that this addition was also based on the increasing trend of user numbers.

"KAI sees that since December last year, there has been a growth in the number of Jabodebek LRT users, especially on weekdays," said Mahendro.
