Fuel Stock In North Sumatra Is Safe During The F1 Powerboat

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra (Sumbagut) ensures that fuel and avtur stocks in North Sumatra are safe during the 2024 F1 Powerboat World Championship (F1H2O) taking place on March 2-3 in Balige, Toba Regency.

"We ensure and guarantee the safe stock and distribution of fuel and avtur in North Sumatra, especially in the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia F1 Powerboat," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Area Manager Communication and CSR Sumbagut Susanto August Satria in Medan, quoted from Antara, Friday, March 1.

In North Sumatra, as of this Friday, Pertamina Patra Niaga noted that there were 36,532 kiloliters of Biosolar and 46,530 kiloliters of Pertalite.

Then, Pertamax Turbo is available 1,251 kiloliters, Pertamax 390 kiloliters and Dex Series 2,373 kiloliters.

In addition, for aviation fuel, there is a stock of 13,091 kiloliters in North Sumatra. The stock running for the avtur is still in more than sufficient condition, namely for 20 days.

"These fuel and avtur stocks do not include stocks that will be distributed from refineries and stocks that are currently running from tankers," said Susanto.

He continued, all Fuel Terminal facilities and facilities, aircraft charging depots (DPPU) and public refueling stations (SPBU) operate normally and optimally in anticipating an increase in energy consumption in the community.

"Through the Fuel Terminal of Medan Group, Kualanamu DPPU and Silangit DPPU, Pertamina Patra Niaga is ready to meet the needs of airline consumers, especially during the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia F1 Powerboat 2024," said Susanto.

Meanwhile, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra (Sumbagut) provides 30 thousand liters of Pertamax Turbo RON 98 fuel for participants at the 2024 F1 Powerboat World Championship (F1H2O).

The World Championship F1 Powerboat on March 2-3, 2024 will be the second event in the Lake Toba Super Priority Tourism Destination (DPSP) area, to be precise in Toba Regency, after previously the competition took place in the same location on February 24-26, 2023.

At that time, its implementation was considered successful and participants from various countries had expressed their admiration for Lake Toba.

In 2024, the World Championship F1 Powerboat will be held in several countries. Apart from Indonesia, the competition was also held in Vietnam, Italy, China and the United Arab Emirates.
