PLN Builds Substations And High Voltage Electricity Networks In Central Sulawesi With TKDN 74 Percent

PT PLN (Persero) managed to provide the first voltage at the 150-kilogram voltage substation (GI) located in North Palu District, GI 150 kV in Sindue District and High Voltage Air Line (SUTT) with a voltage of 150 kV along 24.8 kilometers of circuits (kms) spread from Sindue sub-district, Donggala Regency to North Palu District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi.

The three electrical infrastructures successfully reached the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of 74 percent.

General Manager of PLN Sulawesi Development Main Unit, Josua Simanungkalit, continued that the construction of this network was successfully realized with TKDN of 74 percent.

He added that the existence of these three infrastructures will function to distribute power from the Palu 3 power plant with a capacity of 2x50 megawatts (MW) which is planned to operate this year.

The network that has been successfully completed will contribute to channeling power from the Palu 3 Power Plant to the community as well as industries in Central Sulawesi. For that we express our gratitude to all _stakeholders_ who have supported the smooth running of this work," said Josua in a statement to the media, Thursday, February 29.

Josua added that this work is a continuation of the construction of GI and SUTT 150kV Tawaili Talise which has been operating first in January 2024. Josua explained that his party will continue to complete other transmission lines to realize the electrical interconnection system from Central Sulawesi towards Gorontalo.

"Furthermore, we will complete this transmission line up to the 150kV Tambu Substation in Donggala Regency, where this development is part of the Central Sulawesi electrical system interconnection plan towards Gorontalo in the future," concluded Josua.
