Starting Tomorrow, Jabodebek LRT Adds 44 Trips On Working Day

JAKARTA - PT Kareta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI will add 44 Jabodebek LRT trips on weekdays or weekdays. The addition of this trip will be effective starting tomorrow or March 1, 2024.

The Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT, Mahendro Trang Bawono, said that with this addition, the number of Jabodebek LRT trips every day (on Sunday) will increase.

"So the total is 308 trips, or an increase of 16 percent compared to the previous period," said Mahendro in an official statement, Thursday, February 29.

Mahendro said the addition of this trip was intended to improve services for Jabodebek LRT users.

Furthermore, Mahendro said that this addition was also based on an increasing trend in the number of users.

"KAI sees that since December last year, there has been a growth in the number of Jabodebek LRT users, especially on weekdays," said Mahendro.

From KAI records, continued Mahendro, the number of Jabodebek LRT users in December 2023 reached 1,029,686 users.

"Meanwhile, in January and February 2024, there has been an increase in the number of users to 1,200,399 users in January and 1,202,087 users on February 28," he said.
