Announcement! KCIC Will Permanently Close Toll Access To Halim High Speed Train Station

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia Chinq (KCIC) has decided to close the toll road access to the Fast Train Station Where Halim is located on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road KM 00+850 A.

The goal is for the safety and security of road users and passengers of the rowsh high-speed train.

KCIC Corporate Communication Manager Emir Monti said that the plan is for the toll road access to be permanently closed starting February 18, 2024.

"Passengers who will go to Halim Station can use Jl. Halim Perdana Kusuma Fast Train Access via Jl. DI Panjaitan," he said in an official statement, Thursday, February 15.

Emir said previously the toll access at KM 00+850 A was a route in and out of project vehicles during the construction period. Because the construction of the HIGH Speed Train has been completed, through coordination with Jasa Marga and the Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, for safety and security, the toll access must be closed.

Moreover, continued Emir, KCIC together with Jasa Marga and the Ministry of PUPR are currently procuring access to the KM 1 + 842 Toll Road Jakarta-Cikampek. Toll access will also be one of the accesses to the Halim High Speed Train Station.

The closure of toll access to the Fast Train Stationction Halim is also part of the traffic arrangement for the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road which is parallel to the access road for the new toll opening project to Halim Station which is currently underway.

Later there will also be a counter flow in the process of building new toll access. So that if the KM 00 + 850 A toll road access is still operational, it is feared that it will endanger the safety safety of road users," he said.

Even so, Emir said high-speed train passengers don't have to worry about having trouble accessing Halim stations. Apart from going through DI Panjaitan Street access, passengers can also use a number of public transportation that has been prepared.

The transportation that has been prepared starts from Transjakarta 7W on the Cawang-Jalan route Major General Sutoyo - Jalan DI Panjaitan-Halim Station, Jabodebek LRT with the Dukuh Atas-Jati Mulya route, and Taxi.
